When Mark Murphy played in the NFL in the 1980s he never dreamt the league would one day be playing games in Brazil. But in 2024, as CEO of the Green Bay Packers, Murphy took his team to Sao Paulo for its regular season opener, against the Philadelphia Eagles. Before heading south, Murphy shares with us some of the whys and hows about the upcoming adventure.
It just seemed a little odd seeing soccer played in Lambeau Field, but people loved it. I think you’ll see more and more of that.
